There are many online places for you to write articles, stories, poems etc., and get paid for it. Such sites share the revenue they get from their advertisers. They share about 50% to 80% revenue with you. Your income mainly depends on the number of people who visit your posts. More the visitors, more the income. You must write more articles to get more visitors. This is a long term process, but you get a passive income forever.

You can join such sites without any investment. If a site asks for money for joining, beware of it, as the site may be a scam.

Writing online is an easy process, but before starting you need to know about many things. The basic things you must know about are:

1. Typing in Word Processor. The most popular word processor is MS Word.

2. A valid Email account

3. Internet facility

4. Registration with various online writing platforms. There are many such platforms. The registration is free.

5. A Savings Bank account having facility of online money transfer. Generally it is available with all the Banks.

6. A Paypal account to get money transferred to your Bank Account. Generally the websites send the money to your Paypal account, and Paypal sends it to your Bank account. You can get a free Paypal account,  I would like to write about opening a Paypal account in a separate post.
